"Beyond the Rocks" with live music

Adrian Konarski will play live to the unique silent movie “Beyond The Rocks” dir. by Sam Wood. The projection will take place On Friday the 6th of December at 6PM in the Center Of Japanese Art (MANGGHA) in Krakow. It will be first and the only projection of this movie in Poland. It will be presented during the X Silent Film Festival.

The great event of the X Silent Film Festival will be the screening of Sam Wood’s BEYOND THE ROCKS with Gloria Swanson and Rudolph Valentino, a film presumed lost for 80 years. It will be first and only screening in Poland. The film was discovered in 2000 in Holland and restored by Nederlands Filmmuseum, which will be honoured with the Festival’s award ZLOTA KLODKA (Golden Padlock) for preservation of silent cinema.
